Strawberry Banana Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup coconut milk (any non-dairy milk)
  • 1/2 tsp blue spirulina (optional)
  • handful of blueberries to top (optional)
  • honey drizzle to top (optional)
  • 1 tbs bee pollen to top (optional)

    Instructions:

  • Add banana, strawberries, spinach, vanilla extract, non-dairy milk and blue spirulina (optional) into high speed blender

  • Blend together and pausing to mix together/help blender before adding more liquid. Ideally smoothie bowls are thick so pausing to mix the smoothie a bit with a spatula and then turning the blender back on is a good method. If it still won't blend add more liquid.

  • Once the consistency is smooth, pour into a bowl and top with whatever you'd like. My favorite is blueberries and a drizzle of honey.
